The Tale of Bogey’s Brew
It all began one magical day in the year 2013 when an enchanting cat visited the newly open-to-the-public golf course, Mountain View Country Club. She soon cast a spell on the golf staff once she decided she wanted to stay– the mice were plentiful, the golfers were kind, and the Pro Shop staff made excellent cat servants. Before long, Bogey had an official cat house and a crew of friends who made sure she was safe and warm during the cold winter months. Bogey worked hard during the spring, summer, and into the fall to keep the course in tip-top form and often craved a cold drink after a long day’s work. That is when Appalachian Brewing Co stepped in to craft a special Dortmunder-Export style brew of German heritage with a golden blonde color and exhibiting a moderate hop palate with a mellow finish and just a hint of catnip to help Bogey relax after a satisfying day on the course. We are elated to now be able to offer this refreshing brew on tap just for you! (Sorry, only Bogey gets the special catnip recipe version).
